# FK Grand: a physically modelled piano

> A piano that is calculated, not sampled: hammers, strings, soundboard and pedals as a physical model. Coming soon.

**Coming soon** - early stage of development.

FK Grand does not play back recordings. It **calculates the sound** of a grand piano: hammer, strings, soundboard, sympathetic resonance and pedals as a physical model. That keeps it small on disk and lets it respond to how you play.

## Status

A first version runs as a VST3 plugin and standalone application; the sound is still being worked on.

## Lite and Pro

A free Lite version and a Pro upgrade are planned. Details and prices follow.
