# Activate Pro

> How to activate the Pro version of an FK plugin with the key from your purchase e-mail.

After buying, you get an e-mail with your **Pro key**. It starts with `FKPRO1-` and is one long line.

## In the plugin

1. Open the plugin, e.g. FK Rig in FK Audio Suite, in another DAW or as a standalone application.
2. At the bottom of the window is the field **Pro key**. Paste the whole key there.
3. Click **Activate Pro**. The plugin checks the key offline and shows "Pro, licensed to" with your e-mail address.

One key covers every product it names: FK Rig Pro unlocks FK Rig, the bundle unlocks every plugin, also future ones. Activate once on each of your computers.

## Where the key is stored

* Linux: `~/.config/FKAudioSuite/license.key`
* Windows: `%APPDATA%\FKAudioSuite\license.key`

You can copy this file to your other computers instead of pasting the key again. **Remove key** in the plugin deletes it from this computer.

## Problems

* **"Invalid key"**: copy the whole line from the e-mail, without spaces or line breaks.
* **Key lost**: write to [info@fk-onlineservices.de](mailto:info@fk-onlineservices.de) from the address you bought with; we send it again.
* **No e-mail after buying**: check your spam folder; then write to us with the order number from Paddle's receipt.
